Blue Cat Audio has announced a brand new modulation plugin that can simulate all kinds of rotary speaker effects.
Spinal Vibe is a rotary (multi-)speaker emulator that goes way beyond the scope of traditional simulations, thanks to a couple of twists. This plugin provides extensive controls for modifying the effects generated by the rotation. This results in a diverse array of modulation effects that go beyond the limitations imposed by the traditional physics of rotary speakers.
Also new is Freeceiver, a free network audio plugin and application that can receive both audio and MIDI signals sent over a network by the Connector plugin and the recently released Fader Hub software.
It operates on one or several computers, thru a local area network or through the Internet for remote communication, making it the perfect tool to share musical content in real time with others, for free.
Both new products will be demoed at the NAMM Show this week on booth #16300, together with other Blue Cat Audio software. They are expected to be released later this semester.
