Mercuriall Audio Software has announced the release of an update to its amp modeling effect plugin for Windows and Mac.
Version 1.4.2 of Ampbox comes with various improvements and fixes for the ever-evolving platform for Mercuriall Audio products.
Changes in Ampbox v1.4.2
- Significantly increased the startup speed of the plugin and standalone version.
- Fixed the issue with selecting audio interface for input/output in the standalone version settings (disappearance of sound when switching).
- Accelerated oversampling mode switching.
- Eliminated possible access to unaligned data, which improved stability.
- Improved multithreaded algorithm for working with IRs for the cabinet.
- Made minor improvements and fixes in the code.
- Fixed an issue causing the program to crash on some Mac Intel platforms.
- Fixed a bug that caused the program to crash when duplicating tracks in DAW.
- Resolved a memory leak in the power amp section for the Euphoria, Reaxis, and U530 models.
