With the help of new owners Baby Audio Inc, Denise Audio launches the third in a series of major revamps to its core plugin lineup.
A reinvention of its best selling reverb, Perfect Room 2 expands on Denise’s innovative Dynamic Room Response engine for ultra-clean reverb with additional flexibility and zero latency performance.
Perfect Room 2 creates pristine reverb with unprecedented clarity. With surgical controls and an uncommonly transparent sound, it’s probably the industry’s cleanest reverb.
Perfect Room 2 takes a new approach that differs from conventional reverb techniques. Its Dynamic Room Response engine generates a simulated acoustic profile that users can shape in real time. By starting with a mathematically ideal acoustic response, Perfect Room 2 creates transparent ambience without resonances, harshness and unnecessary coloration. That makes it ideal for sensitive tasks where transparency, detail and fidelity to the source are essential.
But physical reality is far from the limit with Perfect Room 2. The sequel comes with expanded creative flexibility to let you dial in everything from invisible ambience to shifting sonic vistas that move with your track.
Perfect Room features
- Attack, Decay and Reverse: Perfect Room 2 can process up to 10 seconds of decay time, but it can also influence the onset of the room response with the attack control. Use it to create gently building density or delay-like non-linear reverb. You can even flip the room profile entirely to hear the decay play out in reverse.
- Customizable frequency and decay profile: Perfect Room 2 lets you tailor the simulated room’s frequency and decay characteristics with two simple controls. Easily transition from dark, hollow reverbs to bright, scattering reflections with the turn of a dial.
- Sound design tools for creative reverb: Perfect Room 2 features tempo-syncable controls for precise bar/beat divisions of pre-delay, attack and decay. It includes a mono-compatible pitch modulation for lush, chorusing reverb tails as well as a unique Halo effect that extends the decay of a selected frequency range. It features a variable-release ducking compressor with sidechain input fed by the dry signal for even greater clarity at extreme settings.
Perfect Room 2 for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is on sale for the intro price of $39 USD at Plugin Boutique, ADSR Sounds, and from the Denise Audio store. Owners of the original version can upgrade to Perfect Room 2 for $25 USD.
