Analogue Obsession has announced the release of a new audio plugin that emulates the Pultec EQ.
Poortec is a simple, no-frills design that uses a Fairchild-style old line amp to amplify the signal after the passive EQ. This results in a unique sound with enhanced transients.
Poortec features
- Low Frequency: Well-known PLTC low-end trick with extra frequencies.
- High Frequency: Shelf-shape high boost and cut at the same frequency.
- TP: Trimpot on gain stage circuit to add extra drive to the signal.
- Clean master output.
- Bypass: Big red button.
- Resizable interface.
- No oversampling.
The Poortec plugin is available for free in VST3, AU, and AAX formats for Windows and macOS.
