Little Endian has announced the release of SpectrumWorx SDK (Software Development Kit) version 1.0 for Windows and Mac OS X.
The SDK enables software developers to easily and efficiently implement vast amount of frequency-domain sound effects in their applications.
“The opportunity for developers regarding frequency-domain sound manipulation has never been greater,” said Danijel Domazet, Chief Executive Officer at Little Endian. “Developers are going to be thrilled with simple yet efficient API that will enable them to easily implement countless effects in their own apps.”
SpectrumWorx™ API is the most advanced and most unique by its small footprint, high performance and low memory usage. The SDK includes a robust audio engine that transforms audio input into the frequency domain; the frequencies are then sent through a chain of micro-effects, each effect being a sophisticated audio processor in and of itself, with its own unique selection of adjustable parameters. With over fifty effects to choose from there are literally countless chaining combinations.
Such kind of versatility and usability makes SpectrumWorx™ SDK a highly desirable addition to anything from cinematic sound design software and digital audio workstations, to audio middleware tools and game music software.
SpectrumWorx SDK 1.0 features
- Sophisticated engine optimized for low CPU and memory usage.
- Over fifty micro-effects (pitch shifter, classic vocoder, wah-wah, robotizer, wobbler, autotune, reverser, etc.).
- Micro-effect chaining support.
- External audio support.
- Detailed documentation.
The SDK is available for evaluation and purchase immediately; interested parties are encouraged to file a request via Little Endain’s contact page.
