QESounds has announced the release of QES Metals Lite, a library of sounds for soundtrack design for Native Instruments Kontakt.
QES Metals Lite continues our commitment to “Unique Sound Sample Libraries for Soundtrack design” – providing new vision sound design solutions for Film/Video/Game soundtrack design. QES Metals Lite is the first installment in the QES Metals series which will include turnkey processed sounds as well as “raw” metals recordings to be used as source material for those doing sound design work.
QES Metals Lite features
- 11 instruments – 946 ARFx-like processed one-shot sounds. Source recordings included Bowed Cymbals, Chimes Clusters, Metals on Dry Ice, Waterphone Galvanized, Scrapes and Miscellaneous Metals. The format is 24 bit, 44.1KHz, Stereo, .ncw samples.
- Version 3 scripting – including: Convolution (110+ IRs) – Global Stereo Image Control, Global EQ, XFade Mode, Layers Mode, Four Modes of Envelope Assignment/Control, and Stereo Image Control for individual sounds.
- Kontakt 4/5 compatible and the install structure has been designed to be user friendly on both MACs and PCs.
