McDSP has announced AAX support is now available for a number of its audio effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.
McDSP is proud to announce AAX DSP and AAX Native support for select McDSP plug-ins. The McDSP AAX versions are a free update to McDSP v5 customers.
Our HD v5 plug-ins have been configured to take advantage of the incredible processing power within the new Avid HDX hardware. HDX owners will see incredible gains in headroom and efficiency while Native users will see improvements with the latest multicore processors.
The following v5 plug-ins are now available with AAX DSP and AAX Native support:
- Analog Channel
- CompressorBank
- FilterBank
- 6030 Ultimate Compressor
- 4020 Retro EQ
- 4030 Retro Compressor
- 4040 Retro Limiter
The AAX format is only supported in Pro Tools 10.2 and later versions, on Mac OS X 10.7.4 and later versions, and Windows 7.
