Samplephonics has announced its Design a Genre competition, a chance to win £3k in prizes.
We’ve teamed up with a bunch of leading audio equipment manufacturers to bring you a fantastic collection of prizes for a really exciting competition, which include Propellerheads Reason 7 + Balance interface, Native Instruments Komplete 9, Korg Monotron and Monotribe, iZotope Iris, Stutter Edit and Maximizer rack extension for Reason, Softube Tubetech Classic Channel Strip, sE Electronics sE X1 Studio Bundle, various Audiofile Engineering Products, Samplephonics’ entire back catalogue, Lemur controller software for iPad and a Soundcloud Pro Unlimited account!
The brief is simple…come up with a name for a new genre, and create a 2 minute track to showcase it. The competition will be runnning over September, and a shortlist drawn in early October. The winner will be chosen by a combination of judging and a public vote.
