SampleTekk has announced the release of ST Little Bastard, a virtual organ instrument library for Native Instruments Kontakt.
Recently I was in a studio doing something completley different, when I suddenly spotted something lurking in the corner. When looking more closly, I found that it was a M100 Hammond Organ with a Leslie 147 cabinett.
Liking all things tubed, and knowing that this is the model used on ”Whiter Shade Of Pale” and by John Paul Jones on Led Zeppelins first album, I had to give it a try. It started and swirled into action. Cranking it up it delivered a rawness that just made me wanting to record it. Ok, miked the Leslie and started recording.
I recorded 48 different settings, with the Leslie on slow and fast speed. Nothing fancy, nothing special, just a Little Bastard making a lot of noise. So here it is, for your entertainment!
ST Little Bastard features
- 48 Preset Hammond M100.
- Recorded through a Leslie 147.
- Leslie Fast/Slow Speed.
- Change speed with modwheel.
- 24-bit stereo samples.
- Over 700 MB of samples.
The sample library is available to purchase at the introductory price of $24.50 USD until February 10th, 2014 (regular $49 USD).
SampleTekk has announced that all its other organ libraries are also 50% off during this introduction period.
