Jeremiah Pena has launched Photosynthesis Vol 1: Sphere, a sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.
Sphere is a powerful sample library for Kontakt, aimed at film/game composers, producers, and musicians who need gorgeous evolving pads, dark soundscapes, rhythmic underscore, and creative instrument effects. Watch the overview video.
Inspired by ambient music, post-rock, and artists like Jon Hopkins, Sigur Ros, Ólafur Arnalds, This Will Destroy You, and M83.
Sphere includes 127 Kontakt instruments, and a 1.85GB library of samples in .wav format. It’s powered by the free Photosynthesis Engine, which allows extensive control over shaping the sounds, and is designed to make importing your own samples and creating your own instruments easy.
The library is available for purchase for $35 USD. Requires the full version of Kontakt 5.1 or higher.
The Photosynthesis Engine as used in Sphere is available for download at no charge.
The Photosynthesis Engine is a free interface for Kontakt to make creating your own Kontakt instruments easy. Import samples, then manipulate them with sound shaping, filters, 10 effects, and a rhythm section featuring a step sequencer, filter sequencer, and 4 lfo’s.
Watch the engine walkthrough for a full feature overview, and take a look at the sound creation tutorial to learn how to start creating your own sounds. Have fun!
