Spitfire Audio has announced the release of Chrysalis, a Kontakt instrument library by Samuel Sim.

Centred around his searing talents as a harpist, at the core of this library sits a stunning, deep sampled studio harp. But this is just the beginning.
As the name Chrysalis suggests, Samuel and the Spitfire team took extreme steps to bend sound into a collection of unique and fresh tools for your sonic arsenal.
The library is available for purchase for the introductory price of £99 GBP until January 4th, 2016 (RRP £129 GBP).
Spitfire Audio has also released Sacconi Strings – Vol 1, a collection of purpose built tools for writing for Quartets performed by an award winning and much talked about British quartet in arguably the best chamber acoustic in the world.
Volume One features the searing talents of Ben Hancox as 1st violin. Playing a rarefide antique article Ben’s abilities are very much the talk of the town.
Not only performing with Sacconi Ben can often be seen amongst the front desks of many of the top film scoring sessions in London.
The library contains 6 different microphone perspectives, including the main stereo position which gives you the classic sound of the hall. Other positions include two close mics, decca tree, outriggers and ambients.
15 different articulations are included with the library from tight spiccatos to longs with complete vibrato control and a whole host of others in between.
