accSone has announced the release of an update to its granular synthesis effect software designed for creating complex sounds, drones and outstanding surround effects.
A free update for crusher-X 10 users, version 10.30 comes with a multichannel standalone macOS app and enhanced MIDI control and Macro features that were developed on request for the musician, composer and DJ Aphex Twin to be used at the Field Day 2023 outdoor music festival, Victoria Park London.
Since 1999, the crusher-X trademark has been “the” granular effect standard. crusher-X is used by famous sound-designers, composers, musicians and film-makers all over the world. It comes with GCOs, an Autotune and Pitch tracking system, up to 10-channel surround outputs, up to 199 individual grain streams, unique 3D grain visualization, over 4300 LFOs, over 410 real-time parameters and more than 220 presets.
Crusher-X 10 for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU) is available to purchase for 289 EUR, while owners of older versions of crusher-X can upgrade/crossgrade for 99 EUR. Prices incl. VAT in EU.
