Acustica Audio has announced the release of an update to its Jam collection of saturation effects.

Jam 2 introduces significant improvements and new features that make it more powerful:

  • Reduced resource consumption: Jam 2 is lighter in terms of HDD resource usage, optimizing storage efficiency.
  • Enhanced performance: It offers optimizations for better performance, including faster model switching that happens instantaneously, allowing for a smoother and more responsive experience.
  • Improved oversampling with antialiasing: The introduction of advanced oversampling now includes antialiasing, a feature absent in the previous version. This is available up to 64x oversampling with perfect phase response, ensuring higher audio fidelity and clarity.
  • New draggable resize feature: Users can now easily resize the interface using a new, draggable resize option, enhancing the usability and customization of the workspace.

Jam 2 for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is available at an intro price of 99 EUR until September 25th, 2024 (regular 199 EUR).

A new addition to the Fire series of audio plugins has also been released. Free for all existing Jam owners, Fire the Jam features 28 different emulations of classic and modern analog saturation families.
