Acustica Audio has announced the releases of Silver, a suite of Acqua plugins (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) consisting of 3 free players dedicated to emulating reverbs of physical spaces and sampled equipment.
All of us would like to use natural physical spaces for reverberation because they sound more natural, as it is our way of perceiving space in our daily experience. Unfortunately, physical areas are challenging to manage because of their resonances and slight imperfections, so pretty often convolution reverbs also tend to sound static and dimensionless.
Silver comes to the rescue in a unique and innovative way as it recreates the listening experience in theaters, rooms, churches, recording studios, and other real-world environments to give you the highest quality reverb based on dynamic convolution. We sampled all the best physical areas for you to have a wide and fresh sound, with a unique naturalness.
Silver differs from all other reverb plugins by three unique features:
- Perfection control: Allows you to correct the sampled space by eliminating problems created by the actual geometry of the room, dosing reflections to make the reverb more flexible.
- Time control: Modifies the tail of the reverb with the highest possible quality. You can abuse this control and the sound will remain simply fantastic.
- Crossfeed control: Acustica Audio has applied the experience gained with Sienna to have the most immersive crossfeed possible, with a wide and natural soundstage.
Available now, Silver Volume A includes 77 physical spaces from many different locations that were carefully measured and profiled for a total of more than 120 different emulations. It is on sale for the introductory price of 119 EUR until October 19th, 2021 (regular 159 EUR).
