Online audio community site Airwiggles is launching a new online conference about sound for games, film and beyond that’s free for everyone to attend. AirCon runs from June 5th-16th and features more than 50 talks, AMAs, panels and interviews.

AirCon will feature insights from talents such as 2 x Oscar-winning sound designer Mark Mangini (Dune, Mad Max Fury Road), Emmy & BAFTA award-winning sound designer Paula Fairfield (Game of Thrones, Lost), Disasterpeace (IT FOLLOWS, FEZ, Hyper Light Drifter), and 50+ other audio pros from the world of game audio, film sound and audio education.

Once AirCon is underway, a number of additional interviews will be unveiled.

“There are lots of great conferences about sound out there, but tickets and travel costs are often high, making it challenging for a lot of people in the audio community to attend. With AirCon, we wanted to do something particularly for the audio community that’s 100% free — and since everything happens online, people from all over the world can take part”, says Greg Lester, one of the founders of airwiggles.com and co-host of AirCon.

AirCon is a collaboration between Airwiggles and independent sound community site A Sound Effect. To take part, all you need is a free Airwiggles account.
