Ample Sound has announced the release of its latest virtual instrument, the Ample China Qudi.
The instrument is is built on the latest development of the Woodwind Sample Engine, with 4.4 GB of samples, including head and body articulations, FX sounds, as well as a select collection of improvised licks.
The Elegant Wind series D key Qudi (Jianhong Wang Masterbuilt) was played by Xiaokui Ding, the principal woodwind player of the China National Traditional Orchestra and member of the Golden Buddha Jazz Orchestra with Zhongruan master Mantian Feng, Jazz pianist Hongwei Kong.
Ample China Qudi was recorded with 5 microphones and 2 mic modes. It has 3 articulations and up to 5 velocity layers, providing a great dynamic range and timbre variation.
New original features include an intelligent legato system, endless articulation legato, creative mirroring, voice independent SAHDS modulation, and adjustable wind effect, alongside sample skipping technology, random articulation, keyboard mode for playing chords, and more.
Available in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats and as standalone software for Windows and Mac, Ample China Qudi is on sale for the introductory price of $109 USD until April 27th, 2021 (regular $149 USD).
