Arturia has announced Oberheim SEM V, a virtual synthesizer instrument.
The Oberheim SEM V accurately emulates the trademark sound of the original Synthesizer Expander Module® introduced by the Oberheim company in 1974.
Used by famous bands and musicians including The Human League, Goldfrapp, John Carpenter, Joe Zawinul, Jan Hammer,… this synthesizer legend now returns as a high-end software, taking advantage of the Arturia TAE® technology.
Faithfully reproducing the tone, waveshapes, multimode 12dB/octave filter and other detailed characteristics, the Oberheim SEM V also brings the benefits of polyphony, MIDI control, arpeggiation and some innovative functionalities such as the 8-voice programmer, or the advanced keyboard follow.
The Oberheim SEM V will be shipping soon, more details to be revealed on October 25th.
