Isotonik Studios has announced that Mark Towers’ Asteroids is available as a free download for a limited time. The Max for Live generative sequencer that can be used on its own or integrated with Ableton Live supported controllers.
Designed and created by Ableton Certified Trainer Mark Towers the device takes its inspiration from the hours spent spinning the Circular Dial and hitting the boost button to avoid the oncoming space rocks, then layering them into oblivion.
Like many of you my day job has stopped for now, so with a number of weeks ahead of me i asked the rest of the collective whether they’d be up with sharing any of their products as well, as a result we’ll have a new giveaway for you each week for the next 5 weeks at least!!
First up is Mark Towers, who’s currently still working at his college turning up each day to provide education for children of key workers!!
The advanced sequencing modes of Asteroids makes it a powerful sequencer for both experimental/generative melodic sequences or intricate/polyrhythmic drum patterns.
Asteroids is available for free until April 8th, 2020. It requires Ableton Live 9.7.5 or higher and Max for Live.
