Audiority has announced version 1.2 of Side Filter, a high pass filter effect plugin. Side Filter removes bass frequencies from the Side portion of a stereo mix.
This filter is very useful to tighten up the low end of your mix or to help you prepare a vinyl ready master.
We have updated Side Filter to v1.2 fixing an issue with the logo menu and restoring Windows XP compatibility.
Furthermore, we included a new plugin in the same package: Low Filter – a simple yet elegant general purpose High Pass filter.
To update, just download and install the demo from Side Filter product page or from your User Area.
The Low Filter features Butterworth and Bessel filter designs, a HPF frequency range of 12 steps from 12Hz to 1kHz, and 6db, 12dB, 18dB and 24dB slopes.
Side Filter (and Low Filter) are available for Windows and Mac (VST, AU, AAX), priced at 25 EUR.
