New York City-based Authentic Soundware has introduced Jazz Drums, a collection of premium jazz drum loops and samples.

Authentic Soundware brought their favorite jazz drummer and his vintage Ludwig kit into their NYC studio to record through their coveted classic gear, including original Neumann and RCA microphones, vintage API mic pres, and authentic Pultec EQs. The result was a swingin’ library of classic-sounding jazz drum loops made for composers, beatmakers, and samplists looking to create truly authentic jazz-inspired productions in the style of artists such as Benny Goodman, Django Reinhardt, Duke Ellington, and Count Basie.

The loops were conceived and recorded as song sets, with a variety of patterns, intros, fills, and endings for each tempo and style—because there’s nothing more frustrating than a sample pack that doesn’t give you all the elements you need to put together a complete and cohesive musical performance.

To top it off, each sample is presented with two mix options: classic and vintage. The classic mix is inspired by the legendary jazz recordings of the 1960s, while the vintage mix is a distressed-sounding mono option that is perfect for recreating the sounds of long-lost 78s.

Jazz Drums Volume 1 and Volume 2 are currently available at an introductory price of $25 USD each. A free intro pack with a selection of loops and one-shots from the Jazz Drums product line is available to download.
