Bace Technologies has released an update to its voice to MIDI plugin and standalone app that utilizes machine-learning to control MIDI with your microphone.

Version 1.1.5 of Bace adds an improved triggering detection algorithm and latency compensation.

Bace’s voice recognition algorithm uses machine learning that can be trained to identify your voice. Once trained, Bace controls your favorite audio software or hardware using your own drum sounds.

Changes in Bace v1.1.5

  • New and improved triggering detection algorithm that significantly reduces false positives (like mouse clicks).
  • Improved latency compensation with better reporting of latency to the DAW.
  • Introduced a loudness threshold and a more responsive envelope follower.
  • General updates to the Windows version.

Bace for Windows and Mac (VST3/AU) is available to purchase for $69 USD.
