Blue Cat Audio has released a free update for its universal connection plugin that can be used to route audio and MIDI almost anywhere “in the box” and across networks.
Version 1.12 of Blue Cat’s Connector improves the algorithm used for automatic resampling and drift compensation, includes a couple of user interface improvements as well as other important fixes.
The plugin has also been tested and validated for online jamming, and a detailed tutorial has been published to setup the connection between remote locations.
Changes in Connector v1.12
- Improved resampling and drift compensation when the plugin starts streaming audio.
- The plugin now reports when more than 100 dropouts occurred.
- Improved user interface meters refresh performance.
- The plugin has now been tested for long distance communication and online jamming.
- Fixed VST3 MIDI input not detected by Ableton Live 11.
