Blue Cat Audio has released a free update for its audio and MIDI scripting software Blue Cat’s Plug’n Script, a plugin that can be programmed to create your own effects or virtual instruments inside your DAW.
Version 3.31 brings many performance improvements, especially for native processing scripts, with a new DSP workload meter to measure the performance of the scripts.
It also includes many new features for programmers, as well as usability enhancements that exported plugins can benefit from when re-exported.
Furthermore, Unicode support for Windows is added, and a couple of issues have been fixed. Native Apple Silicon support (New M1 processor) for both Plug’n Script and exported plugins is available as a preview for registered users.
Blue Cat’s Plug’n Script is on sale at Plugin Boutique, priced $79 USD until March 15th, 2021 (regular $99 USD).
