Cakewalk has announced a new rolling update for its SONAR Artist, Professional and Platinum digital audio workstation software for Windows.
Your CPU works hard, so we’d like to do what we can to help it work more efficiently. This update includes Plug-In Load Balancing for Platinum, which allows running more plug-ins with fewer dropouts.
For users of all versions, there are also new CPU meter modes to gauge performance, as well as Quick Group freezing—now it’s easy to save lots of CPU power by freezing multiple tracks at once.
