Cherry Audio has announced Voltage Modular Ignite, a new entry-level module collection for Voltage Modular.

This deeply powerful $50 package includes 45 modules and over 185 presets.

Voltage Ignite is the perfect introduction for people that want to experience a taste of modular synthesis. Best of all, you can upgrade from Voltage Ignite to the full Voltage Core package when you’re ready to expand your module collection!

Voltage Modular Ignite is available for $50 USD. The upgrade from Voltage Ignite to Core is $49 USD.

Two new modules have been released as well. The Ladder Filter is free for all Voltage Core users.

Based off the famous transistor ladder filter patented by Bob Moog in 1966, and made famous in the Moog Modular and Minimoog synthesizers in the 1960s and 1970s, this filter is the definition of raw, raunchy, and powerful. Turn up the Saturation knob for even more overdriven tone. Cutoff, Resonance (or “Emphasis”), and Saturation are all CV-controllable, too!

The Euclidean Duel trigger-sequencing module can generate complex polyrhythms with ease.

If the concept of Euclidean rhythms is new to you, check out this article from our friends at Synthtopia. But suffice it to say, our Euclidean Duel module may be the most complex and deeply modulatable Euclidean rhythm generating module ever.

The Euclidean Duel module is available for $20 USD in the Cherry Audio store. There’s also a free demo to try.

To use the new modules you will need to get the latest Voltage Modular update (version 1.1.4), which also includes some new capabilities for module developers.
