Classic Funk Chops takes influence from the sounds of The Meters, Stuff, War and Sly and the Family Stone to name but a few. The electric guitars within have been multi-tracked to get the syncopated feel of classic funk, alongside the individual parts and chords included.
The guitar used is a vintage 1981 Ibanez AS50, recorded clean via a Cube amp with occasional use of a Wah Wah pedal. The resulting clean signal leaves plenty of room for your own processing and effects!
