Cytomic has updated The Glue and The Drop, two effect plug-ins for Windows and Mac.
The Glue is an analog modeled compressor plug-in based on The classic 80’s British big console buss compressor with some additional features. It uses the same high quality algorithms used in circuit simulation packages but optimised for real time use. It’s quick and easy to use and has an uncluttered interface.
The Drop is an analog modeled resonant filter plug-in that is currently in an open beta testing stage. It uses the same high quality algorithms used in circuit simulation packages but optimised for real time use. There is a huge level of detail in the models, which gives them amazing drive and tone, but also takes a large chunk of your CPU.
Changes in Glue v1.2.9 / Drop v0.9.18
- New: popup menus to pick circuit type (The Drop).
- New: can now click to reset the state of the I/O checking indicator.
- Fixed: random crashes in re-sampler, mostly on 32-bit version.
- Fixed: sometimes reporting incorrect oversampling latency when base sample rate higher than 48 khz.
