Cytomic has announced an update to The Glue, an analog modeled compressor audio effect for Windows and Mac.
Version 1.4.0 supports the updated security requirements for both Catalina and Windows 10.
The Glue is an analog modeled compressor plug-in based on The classic 80’s British big console buss compressor with some handy additional features. It uses the same high quality algorithms used in circuit simulators, but optimised to run fast, and features a gorgeous fully scalable user interface.
Changes in The Glue v1.4.0
- New: Added extra checks on number of authorisation files saved. Old ones are now deleted to make room for new ones if needed.
- New: Added extra dialogue box messages to help diagnose authorisation problems.
- New: updated preset menu look and feel, support for right click on preset menu.
- New: updated text entry to use built in control, not a control in a new overlayed window (hopefully better for new security measures).
- New: using new folder locations for presets and authorisations in line with recent security changes tomacOS and Windows.
- Fixed: presets now sorted alphabetically to next / prev button behave as expected.
The Glue is available for $99 USD. It comes in VST, AU and AAX plugin formats.
