D16 Group has launched a major update to its flexible delay effect plugin that breaks away from the traditional single-delay line design by offering 4 independent delay lines.
Sigmund 2 comes with a more accessible GUI and numerous new features.
Each delay line boasts its own set of comprehensive controls, allowing users to sculpt rhythmic patterns, atmospheric echoes, and other unique delay effects. Each delay line in Sigmund is equipped with a filter and overdrive module. These function independently of the feedback loop, allowing for a broader sonic palette. This extends beyond standard delay effects, enabling the creation of unconventional textures and the crafting of intricate delay patterns.
The four delay lines can be interconnected in various configurations, providing producers with a powerful tool for sound exploration. Switching between parallel, serial, and other routing options is a breeze, allowing users to quickly experiment and discover vastly different sonic landscapes.
Sigmund 2 for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is available for an introductory price of 59 USD/EUR until April 11th, 2024 (regular 119 USD/EUR). The offer is available at Plugin Boutique and from the D16 store. Special offers are available for owners of the original Sigmund and selected D16 Group software.
A 30-day fully functional trial version is available to try Sigmund 2.
