DDMF has announced an update to its cross-platform and cross-bitformat plugin analyzer for VST and AU plugins.
Plugindoctor lets you test the audio quality of a plugin and see what is done to the audio in detail.
Whether you are a plugin developer yourself who wants to thoroughly test the audio quality of your latest and greatest product, or a power user who wants to understand in more detail what exactly a specific plugin is doing to your precious audio material, Plugindoctor will help you find out!
Version 2 is now available as a plugin itself, allowing you to load Plugindoctor as a plugin in your favorite DAW and stream your audio material through the plugin(s) that you load while at the same time giving them the Plugindoctor treatment. This makes it much easier to directly hear what the changes in the curves are actually doing.
Priced 39 USD/EUR, Plugindoctor v2 is available in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats and as standalone software for Windows and Mac. The update is free for users of the original version.
