Dave Hilowitz of Decent Samples has announced the release of a Decent Sampler-powered instrument in collaboration with Venus Theory that brings a collection of the sounds 83 unique, retro-futuristic sounds created with the Yak Bak ’90s handheld device that records and plays snippets of audio.

Sampling a collection of acoustic and synthetic sources, this library explores the novelty of a sampler never designed to be used as a sampler.
