Denise Audio has announced the release of a major update to its “tape harming” plugin.
Bad Tape 2 includes next level detune with individual control of the rewind and recover times of the detune and advanced side-chains for triggering your tape malfunctions via external audio sources.
The update brings push-pull to saturate different frequency ranges without changing the fundamental characteristics of your sound, host syncing, oversampling, and 4 new effects: phaser, doubler, resonator & magnet.
The Bad Tape is amongst denise’s most popular plugins and focuses on recreating tape artifacts in a controlled way: tape stops, slight slow-downs and speed-ups, multiple ways to go out of tune and off the grid.
Now denise wanted to take the Bad Tape to the next level, giving you more FX and a new level of flexibility to shape the tape degradation of your sound. With the Bad Tape 2, it gets even worse!
Bad Tape 2 for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is on sale at Plugin Boutique for the intro price of $49 USD until August 31st, 2022 (regular $75 USD). Owners of the original Bad Tape plugin can upgrade for $37 USD.
