discoDSP has announced an update to its Vertigo additive synthesizer which offers a range of features to enhance your creative potential, including 256 oscillators, dual filters, and 8 effects that can be easily manipulated and modified.
One of the most significant additions in this update is the macOS ProTools AAX Universal Binary build, which makes Vertigo 4.4 compatible with the latest Apple Silicon hardware. We’ve also added buffer overflow protection to all strings, ensuring that the software can handle large amounts of data without any errors.
We’re also thrilled to introduce a new macOS Big Sur-style icon design for the macOS standalone version. This update improves the software’s visual appeal and provides a modern look and feel. In addition to these changes, we’ve addressed minor bugs and issues that were affecting the software’s performance, and improved its compatibility with the latest hardware configurations.
