Loopmasters has announced the release of the new Drumdrops Live Breaks & Beats drum sample pack, featuring drum loops by from drummer extraordinaire Adam Betts.
Whether in his own music as Colossal Squid, or playing for Goldie, Squarepusher, the Heritage Orchestra, Jarvis Cocker, Three Trapped Tigers and Pete Tong to name a few, Adam Betts is about fusing the old and the new – the sound and focus looking to the future with a love for the groove and humanity of the great music of the past. This runs through Betts’s playing, and it’s this that this drum pack is all about.

With tempos ranging from 95-170bpm Adam takes inspiration from many of the beats that have influenced him and countless others. From Jb’s Jabo Starks to the Amen, from Soul Pride to When the Levee Breaks, Vitamin C to the Funky Mule right up to KJ Sawka inspired rhythms.
The pack includes 423 stunning loops, along with single hits of each kit piece. It costs £19.95 GBP. Also available is the Multi Track version at £29.95 GBP, which offers a full performance live room feel.
