ForceSampling has announced the release of vocal_scapes, a sound library for Native Instruments Kontakt 5.
vocal_scapes is a collection of soundscapes and pads created from raw recordings of the human voice.
The sounds were created by sampling different vowels using an old-school sampler from the early nineteens and driving it trough a variety of effects including tape echo, tube distortion, lo-resolution reverb and many more effect units and pedals. This resulted in lush swells, otherworldly keys and dark/droning basses. The sounds (a total of 3GB of content) were then programmed into 46 Kontakt instruments to provide flexibility and sound sculpting possibilities.
The instrument offers a custom interface with 16 knobs to control 2 filters, drive, bit reduction, sample rate, delay, reverb, phaser, chorus and an amp envelope, so a user can morph and transform the sounds to create their own unique versions.
The sample library is available for purchase for $15 USD.
ForceSampling is also offering a 40% discount on its packs until December 25th, 2014. Use coupon 40offall at checkout to take advantage of this offer.
