Forever 89 has launched a powerful and intuitive VST/AU plugin for saturation and speaker design. Combining the warmth of classic studio gear with speaker simulations, Topos allows musicians and producers to creatively shape their sound’s tone, depth, and spatial presence like never before.
At the heart of Topos are two interactive Map Views — one for amps and one for speakers — that provide an intuitive, visual way to blend multiple models seamlessly. Instead of toggling presets, musicians navigate a continuous space of tonal possibilities, quickly crafting uniquely personal sounds.
The saturation section features a diverse palette of sound based on beloved studio preamps, vintage tube amplifiers, tape machines, and distortion pedals, making Topos suitable for everything from subtle mixing tasks to dynamic, expressive sound design.
For deeper creative exploration, each section includes a Designer View that reveals advanced controls typically hidden from the user. In the Amp section, this includes parameters such as Emphasis, Rectify, Smoothing, and more — allowing for precise shaping of the saturation’s character and response.
