Time+Space has announced the release of Lost Tapes Vol 2, a new sample library by Freshtone Samples.
Fired by nostalgia, moving bass lines, funky horns, slinky guitars, retro keys and the gestures of soul, this brand new collection encapsulates all the wholesome goodness of an iconic era in music.
Recorded at Gizzard studios in London’s East End, using their rare Alice Stancoil early 1970’s AM series quadrophonic mixer, and put to tape on a Studer A80 2″ 16 track and a Studer A80 ¼” machine, Lost Tapes 2 presents a host of vintage instruments.
The Hammond B3, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, a rare early Hofner Violin Bass, a Burns Sonic Bass, vintage Gibson 335 and Fender Telecaster through an old 1968 Marshall 50 watt combination and WEM Dominator amps all feature, plus, for the first time, the Freshtone brass section makes its debut with trumpet, sax and flute adding sparkle and bite to each of the 40 compositions.
Immerse yourself somewhere between 1967 and 1973 and get creative!
Lost Tapes Vol 2 is available to purchase exclusively from Time+Space for the introductory price of £39.95 GBP / 47.95 EUR.
