FXpansion has announced Zildjian Digital Vault Vol.2 and BFD Imperial Drums, two new expansion packs for the BFD virtual drum instrument for Windows and Mac.
FXpansion Zildjian Digital Vault Vol.2 is an exciting collection of orchestral and field cymbal sounds for BFD3, BFD Eco and BFD2. It features a wide variety of Zildjian cymbal recordings as well as a selection of percussive instruments recorded in the same session.
Zildjian Digital Vault Vol.2 includes Classic, K Symphonic and K Constantinople crash and percussion cymbals alongside effect cymbals, gongs, finger-cymbals, crotales, tam tams, temple blocks and more. Playing styles vary from regular sticks and mallets to marching band articulations and clashed, bowed, scraped and water-dipped techniques that provide a huge range of creative sounds.
BFD Imperial Drums is an expansion pack for BFD3, BFD Eco and BFD2 featuring a wide range of drums and cymbals, recorded and produced by Chocolate Audio.
BFD Imperial Drums is designed to offer a variety of sounds and mixing control within BFD3 and BFD2. The medium-sized recording room allows naturally warm ambience as well as direct mic signals with superb isolation for maximum flexibility. Many included instruments provide alternative ambient and direct mic sets for an expanded tonal palette. Finally, 13 stick and beater types including hot-rods, webs, rutes and jazz brushes were used to play the instruments.
