I can’t praise this wave editor enough, and have been using it for 10 years now. While every other part of my studio has changed (including my sequencing software), I have always stayed with Goldwave.
Timestretching is particulary strong, as is noise reduction.. also if you zoom into a waveform enough you can literally draw over clicks and pops, to make a smooth sound. The real strength is in the simple, everyday functions.. cutting & pasting; manually changing dynamics, etc. It’s not an all singing and dancing effects monster straight out of the box, but a subtle, nuanced professional tool – why not try the Demo?
