Impact Soundworks has released version 1.1 of its new Ventus Winds Duduk, a virtual instrument library with a beautiful mellow tone and reimagined Agility script engine.

The update universally improves the sound of legato and vibrato playing, and fixes some minor bugs and enhancing the realism of the emulated vibrato option.

If you previously noticed a ‘phasing’ sound in the vibrato articulation of v1.0, e.g. in the initial walkthrough video, this has now been fixed! We’ve updated all the audio in our walkthrough video to reflect these changes.

If you missed the initial announcement… The Duduk includes a wide range of key articulations, ornaments, release noises, and legato transitions, as well as over 700 phrases of different styles and lengths. The Agility engine is our new UI and script platform, featuring poly legato, harmonization, scale locking and other powerful features for composers & producers.

Ventus Winds Duduk is a fantastic instrument for film, TV, and game composers, as well as artists creating world, ambient, New Age, and meditative music. The haunting sound of the duduk is among our favorite instruments.
