Inphonik has announced an update to the RX950 Classic AD/DA Converter, an audio plugin that emulates the legendary grit and crunch of the AD/DA conversion process of the Akai S950 hardware sampler.
Version 1.1.2 adds native Apple Silicon support and native Linux VST support. It also fixes a rare display issue on macOS.
The Akai S950, one of the most famous samplers from the 80s, is largely praised for its legendary sound. Many consider the 12-bit grit and crunch still unmatched today.

RX950 Classic AD/DA Converter is available at Inphonik and from distributor Plugin Boutique, priced $19 USD / 19 EUR. The plugin comes in VST/VST3, AU and AAX formats. Note that this update no longer supports 32-bit for all platforms.
