Kuassa has announced an update to its free 3-band Baxandall equalizer plugin for Windows and Mac.
Version 2 of BasiQ comes with an updated interface with resizable window, light and dark modes, portrait and landscape orientation options, added low-pass and high-pass filters, alongside enhanced preset management and A/B compare.
BasiQ2 retains the simplicity and versatility of its predecessor while adding several key enhancements. The plugin now features an updated interface with a resizable window, light and dark modes, and both portrait and landscape orientations. Additionally, users can take advantage of newly integrated low-pass and high-pass filters, preset management capabilities, and A/B comparison functionality.
Built on the classic Baxandall shelving EQ design, BasiQ2 offers a smooth slope and natural-sounding filters, making it suitable for both mixing and mastering. The tool is designed to enhance tonal balance, providing users with the ability to add presence, clarify mids, or adjust bass with ease.
BasiQ2 comes in VST/VST, AU and AAX plugin formats, free to download from the Kuassa website.
