The Beatport Group has announced the launch of a new LabelRadar feature that is designed to facilitate connections and collaborations among artists. The Artist Network makes it easier than ever to discover and work with like-minded creators. LabelRadar is part of Beatport’s Music Services division, led by Alex Branson.
Recent data indicates that 68% of artists face challenges in collaborating due to difficulties in finding peers with similar interests. In response to this, the Artist Network has been developed to bridge this gap and unlock new opportunities for collaboration. By connecting with fellow artists, users can enhance their creative potential, expand their promotional reach, and access new fanbases. Additionally, the Artist Network offers opportunities for genre exploration, skill development, and professional networking.
The Artist Network enables users to discover and connect with peers based on specific criteria, including DAW, genre, country, language, and more. The platform additionally allows users to indicate their availability for collaboration—whether for remote, in-person, or hybrid projects—creating a supportive environment where artists can engage, communicate, and grow together.
“At LabelRadar, innovation is at the core of our mission to support and empower the artist community,” said Derek Clark, Director of Product Management (Music Services) at Beatport and Co-Founder of LabelRadar.
“The Artist Network makes it easier than ever for artists to collaborate with one another, marking a significant advancement in our platform, providing artists with the tools they need to connect, collaborate, and thrive like never before.”
