The prestigious Musicians Institute has opened registration for this year’s round of summer workshops – Summer Shot 2018.
Not just your usual summer camp, Summer Shot gives anyone over the age of 18, from anywhere in the world, the chance to experience campus life.
Students will enjoy a week in Hollywood, meeting fellow musicians, forming their own band, writing and even recording a song in the state of the art facilities.
Summer Shot’s one week programme will run from June 25th – 29th ($1,500 USD) and Summer Shot: Music Intensive will be two weeks, from June 25th – July 5th ($3,240 USD).
With the two-week course, all your food will be covered, and you’ll enjoy trips to Universal Studios, Grammy Museum and the IHeart Studios in Burbank. From DJing to Music Production, there’s a course for everyone.
Rachel Yoon, Dean of the School of Performance Studies at the Musicians Institute, comments:
“We understand that it’s not feasible for everyone to make the move to Hollywood as a full time student, but we don’t want that to come in the way of passionate musicians.
“We’ve created Summer Shot to give both aspiring and existing musicians the opportunity to gain invaluable skills within this weeklong program, so they can leave our campus feeling more confident in their talent than ever before.”
Registration is open now and available to students around the world.
