Loopmasters has introduced a new sample pack by Grammy winner and Philadelphia native Antman Wonder, who has collaborated with legendary producers including DJ Premier, Justice League and Just Blaze.
His debut sample pack Sketches charts a journey from simple sampling to synth hero, rich in melodic sounds that focus on texture.
Taking cues from genres and soundscapes across different eras, the pack reflects Antman’s childhood immersed in pop culture and is inspired by broken beats and scoring ideas. Primarily mixing synthesis with natural sounds, expect booming, floor-ready drums mixed with dusty, vintage keys alongside sizzling bass notes and cinematic strings.
Particularly suited for developing starting pieces or transitional elements, Antman Wonder’s sounds are uncategorisable, making them suitable for genres from Trap to Old-School Hip Hop, Future Bass and Chillout. Recorded in the studio in pristine 44,1Khz quality, this 523MB collection of royalty-free inspiration features loops reaching between 60BPM and 130BPM.
