Applied Acoustics Systems has announced that its award-winning Lounge Lizard EP-4 electric piano now supports Native Instrument’s NKS extended plug-in format.
NKS brings intuitive and seamless interaction between Lounge Lizard EP-4 and KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboards and MASCHINE hardware. Lounge Lizard EP-4’s key parameters have been mapped in order to provide optimal tactile control of its physical modeling engine. Furthermore, Lounge Lizard EP-4’s entire factory preset library now appears in the powerful tag-based browsers of the MASCHINE and KOMPLETE KONTROL software.
“We are currently working to make our different instruments compatible with the NKS format and Lounge Lizard EP-4 is the first one to be ready,” says Eric Thibeault, marketing director at Applied Acoustics Systems. “We are very excited with this new NKS version as it provides a deep integration of software and hardware leading, ultimately, to a more natural and fulfilling musical experience.”
This new NKS version of Lounge Lizard EP-4 is available now and provided free of charge to registered users.
To mark this release, and until June 27th, 2016, Lounge Lizard EP-4 is offered at a price of $99 USD (a 50% discount) to new users. Lounge Lizard EP-4 runs on both Mac OS X and Windows in 32- and 64-bit host sequencers supporting the VST, Audio Units, RTAS, and AAX Native plug-in formats.
