Luftrum has launched the 2017 Call to Arms charity, an effort to raise money for Save the Children.
The yearly charity fundraiser at KVR Audio offers you the chance to bid on music production software and hardware donated by the sound industry.
The time has come once again, to stand up and do good for the many children around the world who are suffering from crises and war.
The past six years, our audio industry have raised more than $125.000 for Save the Children through software and hardware auctions in an annual fundraising here on the forum of KVR Audio. Last year alone, we raised an amazing $31.945 breaking all former years.
Let’s do another charity run and once again, shall we? And shouldn’t we once again mark the funds we raise to the refugee children from the Syrian war living in refugee camps in nearby countries. According to Save the Children, nearly 2.4 million Syrian girls and boys are experiencing the uncertainty of life as a refugee.
The first few developers who have pitched in with donations are Luftrum, Tritik, DyVision Works, Versilian Studios, DDMF, AudioThing, Vengeance Sound, Sonokinetic, Mutable Instruments and PreSonus. Rekkerd is donating an advertisement banner.
Make sure to check the list of developers daily. In previous years the charity auction was also sponsored by Xfer Records, Synapse Audio, LennarDigital, Cableguys, Akai Pro, Slate Digital, D16 Group, Bitwig, u-he, Plugin Boutique, Rob Papen, Propellerhead, Steinberg, Reveal Sound, Output, Ableton, Spectrasonics, Native Instruments, and many more.
All auctions end on October 31st, 11:59:59 PM Central European Time (CET).
