Man Makes Noise has announced the Omnisphere: Omnidose sound library, a collection of 125 patches for the Omnisphere 2.6 virtual instrument by Spectrasonics.
Welcome to a journey that began 32 years ago when Roland released the D-50 synth. Omnidose is a modern day re-imagining of that legendary piece of music gear. This is not an attempt to recreate what the D-50 sounded like, but rather a voyage to discover new sonic ground, the Man Makes Noise way.
Be prepared to give your project the D!
Omnidose features
- 125 patches made using the Roland D-50 waveforms in Omnisphere, divided into 8 categories:
- 14 arp and bpm.
- 3 distortion.
- 6 hits and bits.
- 44 pads and strings.
- 23 synth bass.
- 5 synth mono.
- 22 synth poly.
- 8 synth short.
- Most patches use multiple MIDI CC controls to change parameters of the sounds (velocity, modwheel, aftertouch, breath control and pitch bend).
- Bonus of 10 artificial ambiences in .wav format.
Omnidose is available now for 19 EUR. It requires Omnisphere 2.6.
