Loopmasters has launched Mark Fletcher’s sample pack Rude Drums, a selection of genuine dub and reggae drum sections that will provide a taste of Jamaican heritage in your rhythm sections.
The pack includes 133 live drum loops and 6 drum fills, in both dry and wet versions.
Mark Fletcher’s CV reads a bit like a modern jazz lover’s record shelf. From Ronnie Scott and Pete King, Hatfield and The North and Gary Husband to the final line-up of Soft Machine to feature Elton Dean and Hugh Hopper, if you know their names Mark Fletcher has probably played with them. Fletcher’s style is deeply aggressive whilst rock solid whether swinging, grooving or dancing round odd metres.
Rude Drums contains over 200 MB worth of Mark’s finest playing in an old school reggae & dub style, with dry and wet versions both available within. You’ll hear a mixture of rhythmic playing, fills, tape delays, driving stepper drums, laid back grooves and much more, perfect for anchoring your arrangements with a solid beat foundation. The included loops roll out between 67-136bpm, perfect for reggae, dub, rocksteady, lover’s rock, trip-hop and any other Jamaican influenced styles!
The sample pack is available for £16.95 GBP.
