Minimal Audio has announced that it is now offering perpetual and “all access” rent-to-own options of its newly released Current, a comprehensive virtual instrument, effects suite, and integrated cloud-connected content platform. Each component has been designed to enhance and build upon your existing workflows, promote sonic discovery, and empower you to make music.
Minimal Audio has always been and will continue to be a company focused on creating inspiring tools that make producing high-quality sounds more accessible and fun. It was founded by three friends who met through music, and we continue to be a young team of musicians determined to create the tools we love. Our mission with Current is to create an evolving synthesis platform that can cater to the needs of any producer. We will continuously add new effects, presets, and sounds, all conveniently accessible within the plugin.
We now support Perpetual licenses as well as Current All Access, a new type of rent-to-own license. With our new models, we can continue to build the growing platform we envision while supporting users and providing a path to perpetual licenses for the products they choose. Current is for everybody, and with these models in place, we feel the instrument is more accessible to inspire as many musicians as possible.
Current All Access rent-to-own is $15 USD/month or $120 USD/year, while a perpetual license is $199 USD. A 30-day free trial available to try Current (VST/VST3, AU and AAX).
